Fear the LHC!
With the LHC up and running (not quite smashing particles yet), we should probably keep a close eye on this crazy, world ending monstrosity. So here’s a link for all of you paranoid types out there. Has the LHC destroyed the world yet?

I’ve been super busy with work lately. Lots of stuff has been happening, and there’s lots to do. Plus some dead lines coming up. Speaking of work though, Andy Trozan took a job with us. And he’ll be my minion. Now we have Nate and Andy both. What a sweet deal!
So today was full of a lot of information being spewed at me. I’m not sure that I managed to take it all in, but hopefully I’ll be able to be useful in a short amount of time. Everyone at the company is really great. I’m enjoying the people that I’m working with, and it’s a lot of fun to work with Troy (aka Deuce).
The weather today was very nice, somewhere in the low 70’s (yes, you folks back in Indiana can hate me, I’m okay with that). After work I came home and went for a run in the nice weather. Then I went across the street to the Winn Dixie and bought some food which I made for dinner (potatoes, green beans and some chicken). It wasn’t amazing, but it was pretty good.
I set up the Wii and played some Guitar Hero III. Now I’m watching Troy play it. I’ve got to admit, it’s pretty hilarious! I wonder what I look like when I play it….
After about ten hours of driving today, I have stopped at Macon, Georgia for the night. I got a room at a Super 8 motel. Yes, it really is that exciting!
Marcus recommended that I stop by here, so I did. It, apparently, is origin of his chapter, ATO. Pretty cool story, you should look into it.
I don’t have too much else to report. I’m getting sleepy, and have quite a few more hours of driving ahead of me tomorrow, so I plan on turning it soon.
Here is an interesting picture that I took on a walk with Becky. I’m trying to get better at taking pictures.
